Discussion on the Design of Frame Machining Scheme
-
Abstract
This paper focuses on addressing issues such as high dispersion in dimensional and geometric tolerance accuracy and hoisting-induced deformation during the machining of compressor bodies. By analyzing the structural material properties of the body and limitations of conventional machining processes, the clamping method was redesigned and improved. A systematic study was carried out on the selection and transformation of machining datums, leading to the development of an integrated machining process plan, along with an optimized hoisting scheme. As a result, a standardized machining solution suitable for this type of compressor body has been established, significantly improving machining accuracy and product quality while providing a reliable reference for manufacturing similar components.
