Design Points and Verification of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Mounting Devices in The Power Industry
-
Abstract
In order to maximize the mounting capacity of drones and carry heavier execution devices for operations, this article takes the DJI M350RTK drone commonly used by the power bureau as a case study, and compares the performance of flexible, semi flexible, and rigid mounting devices through actual testing. After verification, it has been shown that in the scenario of overhead power lines, the drone mounting device with A-guided structure can improve the accuracy of line operation when approaching the rated load of the drone; Using a rigid connection structure to shorten the distance between the mounting device and the center of mass of the drone can improve the flight stability of the drone; The use of flexible connection is only recommended when the load is much lower than the rated load of the drone.
