Strength Analysis and Verification of the Main Flange Bolt Holes in a Reactor Main Pump Casing

  • 摘要: 某型反应堆主泵泵壳在水压试验前,要求主法兰螺栓孔预留加工余量,待水压试验合格后再精加工至最终尺寸。本文针对螺栓孔受力状态开展分析,通过理论计算与有限元分析发现,主法兰螺纹强度不满足使用要求。为此制作了主法兰螺栓孔承载试验模拟件,试验验证表明,主法兰螺栓孔螺纹虽存在变形,但不影响螺栓副的装拆,体现了理论与实践相结合的重要性。

     

    Abstract: For a certain type of reactor main pump casing, the bolt holes on the main flange must retain machining allowances before the hydrostatic test, and the final precision machining is performed only after the test is qualified. This paper analyzes the stress distribution of the bolt holes, combining theoretical calculations and finite element analysis (FEA), and concludes that the strength of the main flange threads does not meet operational requirements. A dedicated test mock-up simulating the load-bearing conditions of the main flange bolt holes was fabricated. Experimental validation confirmed that although thread deformation occurs, it does not hinder the assembly and disassembly of the bolted joint. This finding underscores the importance of integrating theoretical analysis with practical verification.
