Abstract:
Due to its advantages of low dynamic forces, reduced wear, and low energy consumption, the radial bogie has become one of the three major types of freight car bogies in China. This paper introduces the classification of railway freight car bogies in China, as well as the principles, functions, and technical characteristics of radial bogies. It elaborates on the development process, structural features, and application status of radial bogies in Chinese railway freight cars. In light of the development needs of China's railway transportation, the paper analyzes the development trends of radial bogie technology, providing a reference for future research directions and technological upgrades of radial bogies in railway freight cars.
