Abstract:
As the core equipment of mine transportation systems, the efficiency, reliability, and intelligence level of the drive system in coal mine belt conveyors directly impact mine production efficiency. Traditional asynchronous motor drive systems suffer from low transmission efficiency, complex maintenance, and difficulties in heavy-load startup. This paper, based on geological conditions and parameter calculation analysis of the belt conveyor, selects a permanent magnet direct drive (PMDD) system for the conveyor. The working principle, technical characteristics, and transmission efficiency of the PMDD system are introduced. Through the installation and practical application of the PMDD system in production, it is concluded that the system exhibits advantages such as simple structure, low operational failure rate, minimal maintenance, high overall transmission efficiency, and reduced energy consumption. These features enable energy conservation and emission reduction, delivering significant economic and social benefits.
