Abstract:
In coal mine production, the U-shaped pins used for hydraulic support pipelines are prone to rusting, which poses great difficulties for pipeline disassembly. This paper proposes a novel rapid disassembly tool for U-shaped pins. Adopting an innovative working principle and structural design, the tool realizes quick removal of U-shaped pins based on the wedge mechanism. The tool is composed of a main body, a pressing plate, a wedge block and a pull rod. During disassembly, rotating the handle pushes the wedge block downward to apply radial pressure on the U-shaped pin, so that the pin can be quickly separated from the clamping groove and realize safe and efficient disassembly. To verify its working performance, a 3D model and finite element model are established by using ANSYS software. Structural parameters of the tool are optimized through stress analysis, deformation analysis and contact analysis. The simulation results indicate that the tool possesses sufficient strength and stiffness under rated working load and can reliably finish disassembly operations. No sliding or separation occurs on contact surfaces, which ensures safe and stable disassembly. Compared with traditional operation methods, this novel tool avoids impact and vibration, fundamentally eliminates potential safety hazards, effectively reduces material consumption and improves working efficiency, thus achieving remarkable economic and social benefits. This research provides a new technical approach for the maintenance and overhaul of coal mine hydraulic supports.
