Abstract:
This paper, through the analysis of the working conditions and internal structure of the free roller in slab continuous casting, formulates the manufacturing process for the main components such as the roller body surfacing welding, the core shaft and the water-cooled bearing housing, which are the key manufacturing difficulties. According to the thermal expansion coefficient of the material, the assembly clearance and method of the continuous casting free roller are determined.Secondly, the new process was adopted to solve the technical problems of deformation of the inner hole of the surfacing roller body and deep hole processing of the mandrel, which greatly simplified the processing and assembly procedures, improved the production efficiency of the free roller, and reduced the manufacturing cost.
