Abstract:
The operating conditions of the mining belt conveyor roller are complex and the workload is large. The roller is prone to serious wear during long-term operation of the belt conveyor, which affects the service life of the belt conveyor. In order to effectively improve the service life of the belt conveyor roller, DSJ80/40/2 is adopted Taking the application condition of the ×90 belt conveyor as an example, the fatigue life of the belt conveyor roller was analyzed using finite element analysis. Based on the simulation analysis results of the roller fatigue life, a strategy was proposed to weld a thick belly plate with the same inner diameter as the roller body on the inner surface of the roller body to improve the service life of the roller body. The strategy was verified through practical application. After the strengthening and transformation of the roller body, the thickness of the roller bearing and the roller track fitting area increased, and the service life of the roller body was significantly extended, achieving good application effects. This study can provide reference for the extension of the roller life of the belt conveyor roller body under similar working conditions.
