Abstract:
The commonly used pressure for a clutch oil pump is 0.2 MPa, where the oil pressure drives the piston to open the intake valve and achieve clutch disengagement. However, during the process, pressure fluctuations can lead to unstable thrust, affecting clutch response. At the same time, the noise performance of lubrication oil pumps used in electric vehicle lubrication and cooling systems can significantly impact overall vehicle quality. Based on the PUMPLINX platform and LMS SCADAS XS, effectively reduced the impact and vibration of the oil pump without changing the gear tooth count or the number of stator slots and rotor poles, by removing the unloading groove and optimizing the structure of the oil-filling groove. Experimental results showed that the unloading and oil-filling grooves have up to a 50% impact on the NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) performance of the low-pressure oil pump.
