Abstract: To address the shortcomings of manual inspections in distribution rooms—including low efficiency, high labor intensity, poor inspection effectiveness, and low accuracy—this paper proposes an automated inspection system for distribution rooms based on infrared thermal imaging and visual detection. The article focuses on the research and practical application of the inspection system, automatic charging system, and infrared monitoring system for wheeled inspection machines. According to the actual operation in the distribution room, the effective inspection coverage of the automatic inspection system for the distribution room has reached 95.3%, the accuracy of the infrared thermal imaging module for fault warning has reached 98.9%, Greatly improved the operational safety of the distribution room.
