Abstract:
Scraper conveyor has a large workload and coal transportation volume, and the middle groove of the scraper conveyor is prone to serious wear during long-term operation. In order to effectively reduce the wear of the middle groove of the scraper conveyor, based on the main wear mechanism of the middle groove during the operation of the scraper conveyor, a discrete element model of different parts of the scraper conveyor and different coal transportation conditions was constructed. The wear of the middle groove of the scraper conveyor was simulated under the conditions of coal drying, increased coal moisture content, and different coal particle sizes. Some targeted measures to reduce the wear of the middle groove of the scraper conveyor were proposed, providing technical support for reducing the impact of middle groove wear on the scraper conveyor.
