Abstract:
To achieve lightweight design of wastewater treatment equipment and reduce material usage, this study conducted a mechanical analysis to compare the performance of corrugated and flat-plate tank structures under the same dimensions, water pressure, and deformation conditions. The results showed that the corrugated structure could save approximately 10% of materials. Meanwhile, the corrugation tooth shape and plate thickness were optimized. A bending angle of 135° and a bending width greater than 140 mm were recommended. In addition, thickness recommendations were proposed for corrugated plates under different water pressure conditions. The study provided a theoretical basis for the lightweight design of water treatment equipment and offered a reference for reducing tank material consumption.
