Abstract:
Traditional trailer-mounted drilling rigs have some apparent drawbacks such as numerous modules, low efficiency in assembly, disassembly as well as transportation. Considering the open desert terrain in the Middle East, a fully integrated ZJ40DBT fast moving trailer-mounted desert rig has been developed. Taking the increasing popularity of automated equipment into consideration, an integrated control system has been researched and developed which would largely improve the overall safety and operational efficiency of the rig. According to the requirements for moving efficiency in the Middle East, a comprehensive study was conducted on the structure of the chassis and the lectotype of axles, tires and tractors. The finite element analysis software was used to calculate the main structure of the rig and the results meet all the design requirements.
