Abstract:
Ball screw is a commonly used actuator for linear motion in aviation, and jamming fault is the main failure mode that affects the reliability of the ball screw actuation. Based on the requirements of aviation actuation, the ball return fluency of the three commonly used forms of ball screw in aviation, which is the intubation external circulation, the internal circulation and the full circulation was analyzed. through dynamic simulation, the design parameters for the ball return fluency of each type of ball screw were determined, and the ball return fluency of the three types was compared. the result show that the intubation external circulation ball screw with a return angle of 15° has the best ball return fluency, and the ball return fluency of the full circulation ball screw is significantly better than that of the other two types, especially in high-speed operation, with a very obvious advantage.
