Abstract:
In the current villa elevator market, nonstandard requirements are increasing continuously, especially the application of special well dimensions such as small overhead clearance and shallow pits. To meet the users' demands for customized elevators, this paper proposes a residential villa elevator scheme. The proposed scheme complies with the general requirements of GB/T 21739-2008 Code for the Manufacture and Installation of Home Elevators. Based on the structural characteristics of villa building wells and existing elevator technologies, an innovative well layout scheme is presented. While satisfying the safety space requirements for car top and pit of a home elevator, the proposed layout improves the utilization efficiency of the well space. In terms of car structure design, a gantry-type car frame with a 2∶1 roping ratio is adopted, and a concealed bottom-support suspension structure is designed, which effectively reduces the height of the lower beam and thus meets the application requirements of shallow pit depths. Finally, the mechanical characteristics of the car frame under static load conditions are analyzed using the finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench, verifying the feasibility and structural rationality of the proposed design scheme.
