Abstract:
In response to the problem of high labor intensity and low efficiency in the harvesting process of leeks, a small-scale leek harvesting machine integrating harvesting and baling functions has been developed. This machine consists of four core modules: the gathering and cutting device, the steering and transportation device, the baling device, and the packaging device. The overall structure of the machine was designed using the SolidWorks 3D software, and the motion analysis and mechanical analysis of the model were conducted using the Adams and Abaqus simulation software. Finally, a mechanical prototype was fabricated. After testing and verification, this prototype can fulfill the predetermined functions, significantly improving the harvesting efficiency, effectively reducing labor intensity and costs, and is suitable for use by small and medium-sized farmers.
