Multiaxial Fatigue Life Prediction of the Drive Shaft in an Automatic Car Wash System

  • 摘要: 该文参考类似轴的疲劳寿命分析方法,基于虚功原理、Von Mises屈服准则,充分考虑工况等因素,建立了传动轴的三维模型,将其导入ANSYS Workbench中,分析了其静力学应力应变特性。将零件尺寸系数、加工表面质量系数、局部应力集中系数的影响考虑在内,参考现有相关理论,建立了该传动轴的疲劳S-N曲线,使用多轴疲劳分析方法,得出了传动轴的疲劳寿命,与理论分析结果一致,验证了该理论的合理性。为类似零部件的精确设计分析提供了依据,具有一定的实际指导意义。

     

    Abstract: This paper references fatigue life analysis methods for similar shafts. Based on the principle of virtual work and the von Mises yield criterion, while fully considering operational conditions and other factors, a three-dimensional model of the drive shaft was established. This model was imported into ANSYS Workbench to analyze its static stress-strain characteristics. Taking into account factors such as part size coefficients, surface finish quality coefficients, and local stress concentration coefficients, we establish an S-N curve for the fatigue of the drive shaft based on existing relevant theories. Using multi-axis fatigue analysis methods, the fatigue life of the drive shaft is obtained, which is consistent with theoretical analysis results, validating the rationality of the theory. This provides a foundation for the precise design and analysis of similar components in the future, offering practical guidance.
