Design and Virtual Emulation of Optical Film Mechanism based on COSMOSMotion

  • Laser calibration is an important means of calibrating underwater acoustic transducers. When using the laser method to calibrate the sensitivity of hydrophones, it is necessary to adjust the rotation angle and elevation angle of the optical film, so a set of optical film motion mechanism is designed according to the needs. Then, the kinematics simulation of the mechanism is conducted by using the motion simulation module COSMOSMotion of the SolidWorks software. By comparing results of the theoretical calculation and simulation, the precision of the principle for optical film mechanism is verified. It provides the simulation basis for the follow-up machining of this mechanism, and also provides reference for the engineering designers in this field.
