Analysis of Excess Material in the Flow Channel of Liquid-Cooled Chassis and Research on Control Measures

  • Indirect liquid-cooling technology is now more common in the application of electronic product cooling. During the working process, if the liquid-cooling runner inside the cold plate has excess material, it may cause the runner to be blocked, thus affecting the product's heat dissipation and working performance. The paper is mainly used to solve the problem of excess material failure in the liquid-cooled runner of a certain type of liquid-cooled chassis, firstly, through the scanning electron microscopy and spectral analysis to determine the composition and morphology of the excess; then, based on the production process of parts and components to create the excess analysis tool, sorting and visualization of the excess control methods in each process, tooling, auxiliary materials to analyze the types and materials of the excess that may be generated; finally, through the combination of theoretical analysis and spectral analysis, it is concluded that the excess of the failure is not related to the process of machining of the faulty product. The process of analyzing the excess in the runner of liquid-cooled products and the creation of the excess analysis tool in the article are of some reference significance for the control of excess in the production process of liquid-cooled products.
