The Optimization of Sintering Trolley Wheel Forging Die based on Finite Element Analysis

  • The sintering trolley is a key operating component of the sintering machine,and its main function is to form a rotating chain between the head and tail wheels of the sintering machine and to carry the sintering mixture on the upper horizontal section.Considering the high comprehensive mechanical performance requirements of the sintering trolley wheels,forged blanks are typically used and shaped through machining.This paper conducted a simulation experiment on the manufacturing process of the forged sintering trolley wheel based on finite element analysis. By analyzing the simulation results, deviations were corrected, providing a reference and basis for the optimal design of the forging die dimensions.
