Research on Processing Technology of Plate Parts based on VERICUT

  • For the typical plate parts in the machinery manufacturing industry, the structural characteristics are complex and changeable, and the processing cycle is long. A processing method for plate parts based on VERICUT was proposed. Firstly, the machining process of a common plate workpiece is analyzed, and on this basis, the corresponding machining program is generated by using the numerical control machining simulation function of UG software. Then VERICUT software was used to optimize the original program. Finally, processing experiments are carried out to verify the feasibility of the optimization program. Experiments have proved that the optimized program can effectively reduce the processing time and production cost while ensuring the processing quality of the workpiece.
