Design of an Automated DXF Generation System for Sheet-Metal Flat Patterns based on Creo VBAPI

  • This paper presents a system for the automatic generation of DXF files of sheet-metal flat patterns. The system is developed based on Creo VBAPI secondary development technology, enabling the identification, extraction, and repositioning of CAD model-driven 2D drawing views. It also cleans redundant graphic elements in the drawing frame and completes the automated conversion of document formats. Practical application demonstrates that the system holds significant application value in the field of sheet-metal structure design.
