A Comparative Study on Properties of CoNiCrAlY Coatings Prepared by High-Velocity Oxygen Fuel Spraying, Laser Cladding and Plasma Spraying

  • High-temperature service conditions impose stringent requirements on the oxidation resistance and structural stability of key components. In this paper, CoNiCrAlY coatings fabricated by laser cladding, high-velocity oxygen fuel spraying and plasma spraying are comparatively analyzed in terms of process parameter regulation, microstructure characteristics, mechanical properties and high-temperature performance, and the evolution mechanisms of coating compactness, interfacial bonding and thermal oxidation under different preparation processes are clarified. The results reveal that laser-cladded coatings possess outstanding advantages in microstructure stability and comprehensive performance, which provides technical support for the design and optimization of thermal barrier coatings serving at high temperatures.
