Analysis of Thin-walled Parts Production Quality Problems and Countermeasures

  • Manufacturing process technology runs through the whole life cycle of aircraft research and development, which is not only extremely important for the airworthiness of aircraft, but also an important guarantee for low-altitude economy. In view of the production quality problems encountered in the machining process of thin-walled parts, based on the key factors of “man, machine, material, method, environment, and measurement”, we summarize the problems, analyze the causes of the problems, formulate countermeasures, and carry out experiments to verify the quality of the thin-walled parts. The study found that the new improved manufacturing process will increase the quality pass rate of thin-walled parts to more than 98%, generate economic benefits of more than 30000 yuan, and shorten the working hours from 80 hours to 20 hours. It provides a practical case for continuously building up the intrinsic safety of the manufacturing process.
