Study on the Influence of Bearing Stiffness on the Vibration Characteristics of Scroll Compressor Rotor System
-
Abstract
This paper addresses the issue of excessive vibration in the rotor system caused by unbalanced mass in a vertical scroll compressor rotor. It employs force and moment equilibrium equations to perform dynamic balancing design on the rotor system. ANSYS WorkBench finite element analysis software was used to simulate the rotor system of the prototype, the influence of bearing stiffness on the critical speed of the rotor system was studied, and Design Explorer was used to optimize the response surface of the bearing stiffness and calculate the DOE experiment. The results show that the bearing stiffness is positively correlated with the critical speed and natural frequency of the rotor system, and the change of bearing stiffness has the greatest impact on the first-order critical speed of the rotor system, and the response surface of the bearing stiffness is optimized in the range of 1.0×107 N/m~1.0×108 N/m, and the bearing stiffness value is used to optimize candidate point 1 to obtain the optimal critical bearing stiffness value to avoid resonance, which provides a reference for optimizing the vibration characteristics of the scroll compressor rotor system.
