Abstract
Coins are characterized by frequent circulation and ease of recovery, but sorting and packaging them traditionally required substantial manual labor. This study investigated the current application status of coin sorting machines and conducted a comparative analysis of the performance of several typical models. The goal was to explore how to meet the functional requirements of the key mechanisms in coin sorting machines and to identify integrated solutions for sorting, organizing, and packaging. The research focused on detailed functional analysis of five major modules in the mechanical structure of the coin sorting machine: the coin feeding section, coin pushing section, coin sorting section, counting section, and collection section. Functional simulations and verifications of certain modules were carried out to confirm the machine's comprehensive capabilities in sorting, counting, and packaging coins. The design of this coin sorting machine not only improved the efficiency of coin classification but also realized automation in organizing and packaging, significantly reducing labor and material costs and offering high practical value.
