Design of Gear Transmission Flipping and Loading Manipulator

Abstract
In modern manufacturing automation production, the feeding mechanism of the mechanical hand is a key link in the production line, and its efficiency and reliability directly affect the production efficiency. This paper designs a flipping feeding mechanical hand based on gear transmission in response to the problems of low positioning accuracy and complex structure in traditional feeding mechanisms. Through the analysis of the characteristics of gear transmission and the comparative study of pneumatic and electric control drive methods, a gear transmission scheme combining pneumatic and electric control is determined. The design process of the clamping device and the wrist mechanism is elaborated in detail. The strength of key components is checked by finite element analysis, and the finite element analysis is completed, providing a reference basis for the design of similar equipment.
