Optimized Design for Thermal Management of Compact Container

  • Taking the 35 kV compact SVG container as an example, a thermal analysis mathematical model and thermal simulation study were conducted. This type of compact, containerized water-cooled SVG product offers advantages such as a small footprint and high space utilization, however, it also faces challenges including densely distributed heat sources and limited heat dissipation. Through the design, calculation, and simulation verification of a thermal management scheme for the container, the results show that the optimized thermal management design can maintain the average internal temperature of the 35 kV compact SVG container below 50 ℃. Compared with the pre-optimization condition, the overall temperature is reduced by more than 5%, effectively improving the operational safety and reliability of the equipment.
