Aerodynamic Design and Test of mounted Centrifugal Air Compressor
-
Abstract
Limited by the space and weight of vehicles and the performance requirements of on-board fuel cells on compressed air, centrifugal compressors have gradually become mainstream models. In order to explore and master the performance characteristics of the compressor, it is necessary to establish an accurate and effective numerical calculation model of the compressor, achieve a clear and prepared understanding of the aerodynamic performance of the compressor by means of numerical calculation. Based on the SRV2 compressor prototype, the numerical simulation of the aerodynamic performance and the comparison of test data were carried out, and the numerical model was adaptively adjusted and trial produced according to the test results, and finally established to reflect the aerodynamic performance of the compressor, A numerical model for predicting compressor surge and blockage. According to the fuel cell input, the vehicle mounted air compressor was designed, and an experimental platform was built to measure the compressor performance curve and compare it with the compressor simulation results, which proved the reliability of the compressor simulation method.
