Optimization and Verification of Installation Frame of Drum Cable Feeding Equipment based on Vibration Analysis

  • The vibration of motor and mounting frame in drum cable feeding equipment will seriously damage the stability, life and environment of the equipment (increasing wear, unstable cable feeding, inducing resonance and generating noise). By establishing theoretical model, carrying out fine finite element simulation (modal and harmonic response analysis) and working condition experiment, it is found that the stainless steel 316L mounting frame has smoother stress change, more stable strain and deformation response and significantly better anti-vibration performance than structural steel. System optimization mounting frame (such as selecting materials) can effectively suppress vibration, improve equipment reliability, cable feeding accuracy and prolong service life.
