Strength Calculation of the Energy Storage Battery Cabin Under Marine Transportation Conditions

  • To address the structural weakness at the connection between the liquid cooled battery box and the guide rail during marine transportation of energy storage battery cabin, this study first performed a strength analysis of the connection area using the Workbench finite element analysis software. The results revealed that the structural strength in this region was insufficient, identifying it as a typical weak point. Based on this finding, a rectangular tube array reinforcement structure was designed and installed in the gap between the liquid cooled battery box and the door frame to restrict outward movement of the module toward the compartment exterior. A strength verification of the reinforced battery cabin model was then conducted. The simulation results showed that the strengthened model met the design requirements under extreme marine transportation conditions, ensuring the safety and reliability of the battery cabin during transport.This research provides an effective analysis method and reference for the structural design and strength evaluation of battery cabin intended for marine transportation.
