Abstract
In response to the limitations of existing warehouse transportation equipment, such as limited load capacity, low level of automation, and poor stability, a Rail-Guided Vehicle (RGV) logistics robot is designed. This paper analyzes the main structure and working principle of the RGV and designs the overall mechanical structure of the RGV. Based on the Siemens S7-1200 PLC, the RGV control system is designed, which mainly includes the design of the electrical control hardware circuit and the programming of the control system. The human-machine interaction interface is designed using MCGS software, incorporating functions such as real-time equipment data, task distribution, manual control, and alarm information display. Experimental results show that the RGV equipment can achieve fully automatic transportation, meet the requirements of warehouse transportation operations, and exhibit good transportation precision and high reliability.
