Analysis of Anti-Vibration Performance of Fixed Partition Distribution Cabinets in IDC

  • The fixed partition power distribution cabinet in an IDC is used for internal power distribution. During transportation, the cabinet is subjected to various acceleration loads caused by crane handling and vehicle transport. Therefore, on the premise of ensuring its functional performance, it is necessary to guarantee that the cabinet possesses adequate anti-vibration capability. This paper takes the power distribution cabinet as the research object. First, based on the MIL-STD-810F environmental reliability test standard, a three-dimensional solid model is established using CAD and SolidWorks. Then, vibration analysis is carried out using the SolidWorks Simulation module, and two key results RMS and PSD are obtained. The RMS results indicate that the maximum stress occurs on both sides of the tray and exceeds the material yield strength. The PSD results show that the cabinet vibration reaches its maximum at 13.62 Hz. Finally, under the premise that the cabinet's anti-vibration performance meets the required standards, relevant precautions and recommendations are proposed.
