Design and Application Analysis of Remote Electro-Hydraulic Control System for Mine Drilling Rig
-
Abstract
To address the problems of crowded operators, high safety risks and low drilling efficiency arising from on-site operation near mine drilling rigs, this paper designs a remote electro-hydraulic control system based on electro-hydraulic proportional control. The system adopts a three-layer architecture of ground command center, underground control unit, hydraulic execution system, and integrates S7-300 PLC, electro-hydraulic proportional valves, Wi-Fi/4G redundant communication and PID control algorithm to realize remote operation of drilling rigs and real-time parameter monitoring. Field application results show that the system reduces underground personnel by 2~3 persons per shift, increases drilling efficiency by 15%, saves approximately 450,000 CNY in annual labor costs, reduces the failure rate by 20%, and achieves a communication success rate of ≥99.9%, significantly improving the safety and automation level of drilling rig operations.
