The Noise Analysis and Optimization of Automatic Transmission Oil Pump

The automatic transmission oil pump is one of the excitation sources of vibration and noise in the entire transmission. On the basis of discussing cause analysis and solution measures, optimization and improvement of oil courses and load discharge tanks were made, and flow pulse analysis was carried out using fluid simulation software. Using noise test software, an analytical verification study was carried out, and the conclusion was that the structure of the oil channel and the load removal tank affected the flow pulse and thus the noise. It was validated that the oil pump noise improved significantly after the structural optimization, and achieved the purpose of noise optimization.
